The Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce hosts its Annual Banquet each January at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center. Attendees will enjoy a plated dinner, drinks and entertainment. The Chamber’s newly installed officers and outgoing board members are recognized at the event along with the announcements of the Chamber's Community Champion, Chamber Star award, Chamber Distinguished Diplomat award, The Courier’s Most Useful Citizen award, the American Legion's Teenager of the Year, and HTV’s Eugene Folse Outstanding Veteran award.
Ourkeynote speaker for 2018 is Phil Roop. Mr. Roop is a pastor of 37 years who has traveled across this great country and all over the world speaking at churches, men’s conferences, and to students about making positive internal life choices. In his travels to other countries, he has conducted trainings for indigenous leaders on how to impact their communities. He has beat the odds as a 19 year cancer survivor with a positive enthusiastic outlook and a never say die attitude.
Tickets and sponsorships may be purchased by calling the Chamber office at 985-876-5600. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and will not be sold at the door.
